Ivan Diaz is a former U.S.C.G Maritime Captain who held a license class of Master 100 ton. He has captained multi-million dollar yachts for high profile clients from various countries around the world. Ivan also served as a Maritime Security Operator in the private sector of his career. As a former MSO, Ivan has served along side great operators who hold a proven track record of successful client retention and safe completion of operation.
Ivan is currently a certified firearm instructor in safety and tactics, a certified medic, and a certified Florida Safe School Officer. Along with his experiences he has also operated as a Director of Security for a 26 man security team for two large commercial high risers in the metropolitan area of Miami, Florida.
Ivan Diaz is the Owner / Operator of Florida Protection & Consulting, and holds various licenses and certifications. With over 14 years of real world security experience including Maritime Security Operations, Ivan's main priority is to provide the best operators to maintain our clients safety.

Florida Protection & Consulting was founded in July of 2020. Our main goal was to provide our clients with excellent service, transparency and peace of mind. We've gone above and beyond on what we've accomplished within the five years we've been in business.
Visits from the owner of Florida Protection and Consulting is paramount for a better service to our client. We ensure that the officers at the site are well taken care of by providing them with a great quality of work life to the best of our ability. We believe that if we take care of our officers who are the front line protectors, that results to a better overall experience to our client.
What sets us apart from other security agencies is that we conduct an in-house training having all of our officers attend real-world scenario courses including firearm training, active shooter prevention, medical including Stop-The-Bleed, situational awareness, body language reading, non-verbals... etc. Our in-house training educates our officers on what we've encountered during our time out on the field working as Executive Protectors. Our clients sees the difference in service from our company compared to others because of our training, experience, and involvement.
